This meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM.

APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES  
Minutes: March 2026 Youth Commission Meeting  
"I move to approve the March meeting minutes as presented."  
Vice Chair Reynolds approved the motion. Treasurer Young seconded the motion.  
PUBLIC COMMENTS  
COUNCIL LIAISON COMMENTS  
Councilman Dietz took this opportunity to express his appreciation for the Youth  
Commission and their hard work in the Town.  
YOUTH COMMISSION COORDINATOR COMMENTS  
The Youth Commission Staff Coordinator, Kristin Read, announced that the Youth  
Commission application for the 2026-2027 period is now open and encouraged the  
Youth Commission to help spread the word throughout the community on available  
positions. She also reported that the recruitment process for a new Youth  
Commission Coordinator is currently underway with updates to come soon. It was  
also mentioned and highlighted plans for a time capsule to be placed in the new  
sports center in recognition of the America 250 - Colorado 150 celebrations.  
YOUTH COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS  
Commissioner Agresti reported to the Youth Commission that the Spike Ball  
tournament that was previously planned for the evening of April 19 has been  
cancelled with the event not expected to be rescheduled, at this time.  
Chairman George noted that the Spike Ball tournament has served as a strong  
foundation for fundraising efforts, was a fundamental learning experience for the  
Commission and provided an overview of voting procedures for the Rising Star  
Scholarship.  
Secretary James shared that she looks forward to reviewing scholarship  
applications that evening and was excited to discuss the multitude of applications  
that were received for the Rising Star Scholarship.  
Commissioner Turk also expressed her enthusiasm about reviewing scholarships  
and encouraged continued promotion of the Youth Commission.  
Treasurer Young and Vice Chair Reynolds extended their Easter holiday wishes to  
those in attendance.  
ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS  
ACTION ITEMS  
The Town of Castle Rock Rising Star Scholarship  
“I move to award this year’s Rising Star Scholarships to applicants Jesminda  
Richmond, Quinlen Dow, Matthew Kelsey and Annabelle Clayton”  
Chairman George approved the motion. Vice Chair Reynolds seconded the motion.  
ADJOURN  
"I move to adjourn the April 13 Youth Commission meeting."  
Chair George approved the motion. The remaining members of the Youth  
Commission seconded this motion unanimously.  
This meeting adjourned at 8:11 PM.
