Executive Summary
The 2021 Artfest will be held in Downtown Castle Rock on Saturday, Sept. 11 and Sunday, Sept. 12. The Public Art Commission has attended in the past to raise awareness of public art within the community.
In June, it was determined that the Commission would like to host some type of community engagement activity as part of phase three of the Painting Positivity Campaign. In July and August, members discussed hosting rock painting and Stephanie Brueggemann graciously compiled a list of the items that would be required for this project.
Planning efforts will continue in September; staff recommend confirming logistics, table attendance and handouts.
