Executive Summary

The Public Art Commission retained a vacancy after Town Council approved the recommended appointments on May 18, 2021, and the interview panel is recommending Samantha Wood for reappointment. Samantha Wood did apply during the annual recruitment period, and she was interviewed during the Special Council Meeting on May 11. The interview panel is pleased to recommend her for reappointment, for a full term ending May 31, 2023.

The Castle Rock Water Commission recently received the resignation of Carol Selos, so the interview panel is recommending the appointment of Ben Johnson to fulfill a partial term ending May 31, 2022. Mr. Johnson applied during the annual recruitment, and was interviewed during the Special Council Meeting on May 11. The interview panel believes Ben Johnson will be a valuable commission member and strongly recommends his appointment.

The Public Works Commission also received the resignation of Butch Stinton, so the interview panel is recommending the appointment of Gio DiDomenico to fill the vacancy ending May 31, 2023. Gio applied during the annual recruitment, and was interviewed during the Special Council Meeting on May 11. Gio DiDomenico ranked highly among the candidates, and the panel believes he will be a valuable commission member.
