Painting Positivity Campaign Project Planning Update

Executive Summary
The Public Art Commission Subcommittee will provide an update on the planning efforts of the Painting Positivity Campaign. The subcommittee met with members of the Castle Rock Artist Cooperative on January 27 and February 3; meeting minutes have been attached to provide summaries of major discussion points.
Since planning for phase two of the campaign is underway, the subcommittee will request that the Commission-at-large review a draft call for entries for street art activation (Attachment C).
Next steps will include a subcommittee jurying meeting to select a finalist for the phase one mural on March 3 (the subcommittee hopes to present a final selection to the Commission on March 11), as well as posting the phase two call for entries as soon as possible.
