Executive Summary
Welcome new Councilmembers! Our plan for the December 1, 2020 agenda is not to focus on major Town substantive items, knowing that we will quickly get to several items in the coming weeks. To highlight some upcoming items, with more items to be added:
December 15
Discuss and approve remote Council meeting protocols
Introduce Council’s roles as board and commission and regional group liaisons
Review Town staff’s 2021 major projects list
Review and approve Round 3 of Town small business grant programs
Discussion/Direction on 2021 study session opportunities
January 5
Select Council liaisons to boards and commission and regional group
January 19
Review the draft 2021 Community survey to be distributed after Council review
Additionally, we will likely have in either January or February several land use items, perhaps including the Promenade Block 3A zoning and public finance agreement changes and the redevelopment agreement for the View apartment proposal for 6th and Jerry. Again this is a non-exhaustive list of several upcoming items.
