Update: Proposed New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show

Executive Summary
As you are aware, the fireworks show scheduled for the 4th of July was canceled due to Stage 2 Fire Restrictions in the Town. Per the contract with our vendor, we have until the end of the calendar year to have a replacement show without losing any money.
After discussions about other possible dates, my recommendation is to re-schedule this fireworks show to December 31st at 7:00 PM. This time will allow for it to be a potential family event, and we have confirmed with our vendor that this date and time will work for them. The show would be done from the Santa Fe Quarry to allow for maximum viewing opportunities, and this would be in addition to the scheduled fireworks show for Star Lighting, not in lieu of.
With your approval, we will move forward with making the necessary arrangements and notifications.
