Executive Summary
Castle Rock Water is committed to providing high quality water to our customers, sharing best practices and advancing water technologies across the State of Colorado. For 2020, Castle Rock Water was awarded the Commitment Award, presented by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). The Commitment Award is given to a single drinking water system that has shown an impressive commitment to the culture of protecting public health, and/or has taken impressive steps to overcome a difficult challenge. The award recognizes Castle Rock Water’s previous leadership as the first water provider in the State to be recognized for Gold level achievement in the Pursuing Excellence Program and the commitment to developing best practices in standard operational procedures for source water protection measures, treatment goals and distribution components. This is the first year that CDPHE has given this award. As such, Castle Rock Water is the first water provider in the State to receive this award. This award is a testament to the great work of the dedicated staff of Castle Rock Water who are committed to our mission of providing our customers exceptional service that protects public health and balances social, environmental and fiscal responsibilities in a sustainable manner and our vision of being a national leader among water utilities, focused on customer satisfaction and delivering outstanding service.
