Executive Summary

 

The purpose and intent of this report is to provide Town Council with a summary of quasi-judicial projects.  In order to provide all parties with due process under law, decision makers must be fair and impartial when considering quasi-judicial applications such as those attached to this memorandum (Attachment A).

 

Many of the attached projects do not have public hearing dates yet, but Town Council could be asked to consider them in the future.  The Town’s Development Activity map provides information on staff-reviewed applications and applications already approved by Town Council.  Those applications can be found at:  CRgov.com/ <http://www.crgov.com/inyourbackyard>developmentactivity.

 

New Applications

North Basin Village at Terrain Site Development Plan SDP20-0019:  The applicant, Core Consultants, on behalf of Status Terrain, has submitted an application for a Site Development Plan that proposes 96 single-family attached homes situated in four planning areas along Castle Oaks Drive.  The project will require a Planning Commission recommendation and approval by Town Council.  The project is located within Councilman Townsend’s District.

 

Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Mortuary Site Development Plan SDP20-0021:  The applicant has submitted a Site Development Plan for the demolition of the existing chapel and a proposed new building to provide a new facility that better serves their customers.  This project will require Development Review Board approval.  The project is located within Councilman Bower’s District.
