Executive Summary
Following the creation of The Rock Paint-by-numbers at 2019 Artfest, Stephanie Brueggemann kindly volunteered her time to research display locations for the piece. Castle Rock Adventist Hospital expressed interest. While the hospital originally proposed installing it near the entrance and reception area, they have since learned that the location would create a fire-code violation. The hospital is now recommending placing the piece near the bathrooms and concession area, which can be viewed in Attachment A.
Commissioner Brueggemann and Staff Liaison Maia Aman delivered the piece to hospital in November and supplied hospital staff with plaque information, which can be viewed in Attachment B. Some of the leftover coloring pages from Artfest were given to the hospital so visitors could obtain a copy of their own from hospital staff.
