Executive Summary
Don Trujillo resigned on October 23, 2019.Since interviews were held earlier in the year, the Commission is able to go to those interviewees as potential replacements.
On May 14, 2019, interviews were held for appointments to the Castle Rock Water Commission. Councilmember Caryn Johnson, Vice Chair Amy Blackburn and Tim Friday, Assistant Director were on the interview panel. In reviewing the interviewees that were not appointed in May, the panel identified Carol Selos as the next choice and offered to recommend the candidate to Council to finish out Don Trujillo’s term.
Carol Selos was still interested and was ultimately recommended to Council and appointed on December 3, 2019.
