Executive Summary
The Castle Rock Water Commission recently accepted the resignation of Don Trujillo, effective October 23, 2019.
The Commission Chair, Vice Chair, Staff Liaison, and Council Liaison reviewed submittals from the outstanding candidates who were interviewed during the Special Council Meeting in May 2019, and made contact with individuals to determine availability and continued interest. Carol Selos was a top candidate and the panel believes her background and experience will make her a valuable member of the Castle Rock Water Commission.
• The Castle Rock Water Commission is recommending the appointment of Carol Selos for a partial term ending May 31, 2020.
The Design Review Board also accepted the resignation of Dennis Dickey as one of the Downtown Development Authority’s representatives. During their meeting on November 21, 2019, the Downtown Development Authority unanimously nominated Nick Hier for Town Council’s consideration, to serve the remainder of Mr. Dickey’s term on the Design Review Board.
• The Design Review Board is recommending the appointment of Nick Hier for a partial term ending May 31, 2020.
