Presentation of the Introduction to the Proposed 2020 Budget

Executive Summary
On behalf of the Town staff, we are pleased to submit to Town Council and community the Town’s Proposed 2020 Budget.
An overview of the proposed budget is presented at the August 20, 2019 Town Council meeting following a budget work session earlier in the evening. No Town Council action is required at
this time.
The Proposed 2020 Budget is scheduled for first reading at the September 3, 2019 Town Council meeting and second and final reading at the September 17, 2019 Town Council meeting. Public hearings/public input on the proposed budget will be conducted at both of those meetings. Additionally, public input on the Town budget was received at a Budget Open House on
June 11, 2018.
Attached to this memo is the 2020 Budget Message, which provides an explanation and summary of the proposed budget and major issues, along with the slides planned for use in the presentation.
The complete Proposed 2020 Budget, along with revenue and expenditure detail and a Budget in Brief document, is available on the Town’s website at CRgov.com/2020budget.
