Executive Summary
At the July meeting, Council Liaison Caryn Johnson commented about the evolving nature of downtown Castle Rock given current and future development. Construction projects will add a significant quantity of brick and stone architecture and hardscape. Councilmember Johnson asked the Commission to consider how to balance the existing and future aesthetics of the downtown area. Commission Chair Stephen Maruska recommended adding this item to the August agenda for consideration and discussion.
