Executive Summary
The purpose of this memorandum is to update Castle Rock Water Commission on the 2019 rates and fees study anticipated timeline and the 2019 benchmarking chart comparisons for rates and system development fees.
For the 2019 rates and fees study, the timeline will remain similar to the 2018 study with the two readings being brought to council in September 2019. Throughout the process, CRW staff will be bringing deliverables to commission as they become available.
The 2019 benchmarking charts for both rates and system development fees show the most current 2019 information for all providers including Sterling Ranch that was not included in the charts presented last month. For both rates and system development fees, Castle Rock Water remains close to the middle. Sterling Ranch is the most costly.
