Title
Update: Quasi-Judicial Projects
Body
______________________________________________________________________
Executive Summary
The purpose and intent of this report is to provide Town Council with a summary of quasi-judicial projects. In order to provide all parties with due process under law, decision makers must be fair and impartial when considering quasi-judicial applications such as those attached to this memorandum (Attachment A).
Many of the attached projects do not have public hearing dates yet, but Town Council could be asked to consider them in the future. The Town’s Development Activity map provides information on staff-reviewed applications and applications already approved by Town Council. Those applications can be found at: CRgov.com/ <http://www.crgov.com/inyourbackyard>developmentactivity.
New Applications
Crystal Valley Ranch Planning Area 7 Site Development Plan: Development Services received a Site Development Plan for a mixed residential development up to 171 dwelling units that would include 93 single family detached homes. The project is proposed to be age restricted for seniors 55 years old and over. The project is located at the southeast corner of West Loop Road and Crystal Valley Parkway. This project will require Planning Commission and Town Council public hearings.
IREA Substation in Meadows Filing 19: Development Services received a Use by Special Review application for a new IREA Substation to be located on a 4.1 acre site located along Santa Fe Drive and North Meadows Drive, directly east of Castle View High School. The substation is required to provide power to the future growth of the Town of Castle Rock.
