To help ensure those with questions about happenings in Town can get an accurate answer, the Town last year launched the Fact or Fiction feature on its website.
CRgov.com/facts <http://crgov.com/facts> - accessible from every page on the website via the “Fact or Fiction?” link at the top of each page - features answers to frequently asked questions about Town-related items. Town staff generates some of the questions based upon information discussed with the community, including on social media. Most of the questions have come directly from community members themselves - submitted by email, or through an online form.
The Fact or Fiction feature has been “live” since June 2017. During that time, community members have submitted more than 50 questions. Topics include development, finance, parks and recreation, public safety, transportation, water and other Town topics.
Staff continues to promote this website feature, including by recently producing a video advertisement for distribution. The purpose of this memo is to provide Council an update on this effort and the community a reminder of its availability.
