SUMMARY

 

No. 302, LLC dba Sinners and Saints located at 221 Perry Street is applying for a New Tavern License and has requested a Concurrent Review.  Their application was received on October 15, 2018 sent to the State on October 17, 2018.  The property was posted on November 8, 2018.  Notice for this hearing was published on November 8, 2018.

 

Since that time one of the members withdrew from the corporation and from the liquor license application.  The application and attached documents have been amended as needed.

 

The members of the Corporation are:

                     David Schutte

                     Kim Pforr

 

                     Applicant has submitted fingerprints, and forwarded to CBI for clearance.  Copies of reports are included in the packet.  There was no criminal history found on the two members.

 

                     David Schutte is the manager and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.

 

                     The Town has reviewed all documents required to apply for a license.  The findings are included in your packet.

 

                     Fire department staff is in attendance to explain a mutual agreement to ensure compliance with the Fire Code.  Violations may be addressed through various enforcement provisions available under the Code to include revocation of occupancy and/or liquor license.

 

                     Petitions reflecting the needs and desires of the adult inhabitants of the neighborhood have been submitted, and 97% of those questioned favor issuance of the license - 98% of businesses and 96% of residents.  Representatives of the petition company will be present at the hearing to provide additional information requested by the Authority.
