Discussion

 

Staff would like to update the Commission regarding the cabinet wrap installation at Philip S. Miller Park. Attached you will find the project’s invoice. The Parks and Recreation Department did agree to pay $1,600 of the invoice due to the addition of cabinet panels after the project was initiated. The total amount that will come from the Public Art Fund is $7,952.42.

 

William Slater of the Public Art Collective applied warning labels to each of the electrical cabinets that originally had one. Slater also recreated and installed tipping hazard and field connection signs. Slater will soon be installing artist and Public Art Commission plaques to complete the project.

 

Lastly, staff passed along the cleaning and care instructions to the Parks Maintenance Division.
