Executive Summary
On behalf of the Town staff, we are pleased to submit to Town Council and community the Town’s Proposed 2019 Budget.
A budget work session with Town Council and staff occurred on August 14, 2018, and an overview of the proposed budget is presented at the August 21, 2018 Town Council meeting. No Town Council action is required at this time.
The Proposed 2019 Budget is scheduled for first reading at the September 4, 2018 Town Council meeting and second and final reading at the September 18, 2018 Town Council meeting. Public hearings/public input on the proposed budget will be conducted at both of those meetings. Additionally, Town staff will also host a Budget Open House on August 28, 2018.
Attached to this memo is the 2019 Budget Message, which provides an explanation and summary of the proposed budget and major issues, along with the slides planned for use in the presentation.
