Staff would like to update the Commission on a few items:
Cabinet wrap installation
The latest information available is that the cabinet wraps the Commission commissioned for the electrical boxes near the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park will be installed the week of July 23. Staff will update the Commission of any changes to that plan.
Future Philip S. Miller Park project call for entries
The call is set to close July 31. No entries have been received to date. Staff intends to place any submissions received on the August agenda for the Commission to review and discuss.
Staff transition
Staff member Zagurski is being assigned additional duties within the Town organization. In evaluating workloads, it’s been determined that having a Parks and Recreation staff member support the Commission would be best moving forward. Administrative Supervisor Maia Aman will be assuming the role of staff support to the Commission in the coming weeks and months. Zagurski and Aman will work together to ensure a smooth transition.
