Discussion
Each year, interviews are held with prospective board and commission members. Typically, the Commission Chair or Vice Chair sits on the interview panel, along with a Town Council member and a staff member.
This year, both the Chair and Vice Chair are up for reappointment, so they cannot sit on the board and commission interview group. Therefore, the Commission needs to appoint another member to participate on the interview team.
This year’s interviews will be the evening of May 8. Commissioner Paulsen has indicated she is available and interested in serving on the interview panel.
Recommendation
Staff recommends the Commission discuss this matter and appoint a member to sit on the interview panel.
