Executive Summary

 

The purpose and intent of this report is to provide Town Council with a summary of quasi-judicial projects.  In order to provide all parties with due process under law, decision makers must be fair and impartial when considering quasi-judicial applications such as those attached to this memorandum (Attachment A).

 

Many of the attached projects do not have public hearing dates yet, but Town Council could be asked to consider them in the future.  The Town’s Development Activity map provides information on staff-reviewed applications and applications already approved by Town Council.  Those applications can be found at:  CRgov.com/ <http://www.crgov.com/inyourbackyard>developmentactivity.

 

New Applications

 

Richmond American Homes Planned Development Amendment Project # PDP17-0004 - Richmond Homes of Colorado has submitted an application to amend their zoning to allow 184 single family homes from the original approval of 117 single family homes.  The Oaks Subdivision is located along Ridge Road and Appleton Way. This project is required to be scheduled for a Planning Commission and Town Council hearing for approval/denial at a future date.

 

The Lanterns PD Amendment and DA Agreement Project#PDP17-0003 -

The owner of the Lanterns is requesting an amendment to the PD plan to allow the continuance of the transitional agricultural use until the property is platted.  In addition, the applicant is requesting to vest the property as the previous vesting has expired.  This application will be required to be approved/denied by the PC/Town Council at a future public hearing.
