Executive Summary
The purpose and intent of this report is to provide Town Council with a summary of quasi-judicial projects. In order to provide all parties with due process under law, decision makers must be fair and impartial when considering quasi-judicial applications such as those attached to this memorandum (Attachment A).
Many of the attached projects do not have public hearing dates yet, but Town Council could be asked to consider them in the future. The Town’s In Your Backyard map provides information on staff-reviewed applications and applications already approved by Town Council. Those applications can be found at: CRgov.com/ <http://www.crgov.com/inyourbackyard>developmentactivity.
New Applications
520 Topeka Way - Use by Special Review (Tenant Finish) USR16-0007
The applicant, Ninja Intensity, LLC, is proposing to establish an indoor obstacle course business within an existing building located at 520 Topeka Way. A Commercial Amusement use is a permitted use in the I-2 Zone District, but does require a Use by Special Review. Use by Special Review -Tennant Finish applications are required to obtain approval from the Planning Commission only, unless denied by Planning Commission thus allowing for an appeal to the Town Council.
