Executive Summary
Police Chief Jack Cauley requests Council to select one of its members to serve as a member of the newly established Disposition of Forfeited Property Committee.
History of Past Town Council
On July 19, 2016, the Castle Rock Town Council authorized the establishment of a committee on the disposition of forfeited property (Attachment A). *Per statute and at the time of the authorization, the committee members were to consist of the following:
• *District Attorney of the 18th Judicial District, or designee
• *Town of Castle Rock Council Member
• *Castle Rock Chief of Police, or designee
• *Castle Rock Finance Director, or designee
• Castle Rock Town Attorney, or designee
Proposed Motion
“I move to appointment Councilmember _______________________ as a member of the Police Department’s Disposition of Forfeited Property Committee.”
