Executive Summary
The purpose and intent of this report is to provide Town Council with a summary of quasi-judicial projects. In order to provide all parties with due process under law, decision makers must be fair and impartial when considering quasi-judicial applications such as those attached to this memorandum (Attachment A).
Many of the attached projects do not have public hearing dates yet, but Town Council could be asked to consider them in the future. The Town’s In Your Backyard map provides information on staff-reviewed applications and applications already approved by Town Council. New Applications
Project # -USR16-0006 3990 Limelight Ave Verizon Wireless Facility: Verizon Wireless has submitted a Use by Special Review Application to install a wireless facility at 3990 Limelight Ave. The applicant proposes to locate the antennas on the roof top behind stealth screens in conjunction with the equipment being located in the interior of the building. The site location was determined by Verizon to improve their coverage in the Castle Rock area.
Project # - USR14-0012 Citadel Station F6, Blk 3 Lot 1 AT and T Wireless Facility: The applicant, Crown Castle, on behalf of AT and T has submitted an application to update an existing monopole by removing and installing a new monopole that has external antenna instead of the previous external antenna. This application will require public hearings with the Planning Commission and Town Council. The site is approximately located at the Northwest corner of Atchison Way and Atchison Dr.
