Executive Summary

 

The Public Art Commission will review objectives from the Public Art Strategic Plan and discuss both ongoing and new projects. This month’s priorities include:

 

  • Staff Updates: Holiday Card Art Contest, Tiny Art Quest Ribbon Cutting, Artfest, Youth Commission Trolley Tour, community engagement efforts, the Big Drive sculpture proposal, and Samuel Colston’s resignation.
  • Sculpture Placement: Discussion of location options for Sweet Tooth and And the Wheels Go Round as part of the Town Hall sculpture area enhancement project.
  • Grant Applications: Review of Art and Culture grant submissions. Several members will recuse themselves from this discussion due to conflicts of interest.
