Executive Summary
The purpose and intent of this report is to provide Town Council with a summary of quasi-judicial projects. In order to provide all parties with due process under law, decision makers must be fair and impartial when considering quasi-judicial applications such as those attached to this memorandum (Attachment A).
Many of the attached projects do not have public hearing dates yet, but Town Council could be asked to consider them in the future. The Town’s In Your Backyard map provides information on staff-reviewed applications and applications already approved by Town Council. Those applications can be found at: CRgov.com/developmentactivity.com.
New Applications
The Oaks at Castle Rock Filing 2 A, Site Development Plan Amendment -- Atwell, LLC, on behalf of Castleview, LLC, has submitted a Site Development Plan (SDP) Amendment for The Oaks of Castle Rock Filing 2A, located two miles southeast of downtown Castle Rock. The SDP is situated half way between Ridge Road and Lake Gulch Road on Plum Creek Parkway. The plan proposes 112 single family detached homes on near 170 acres. The project is under staff review and no hearings have been scheduled, to date.
