Executive Summary
On June 8, 2015, Scott Weyand resigned as a member of the Utilities Commission. Since commission interviews recently took place on May 12, 2015, there was another candidate (Richard Treich) available and interested in serving on the Utilities Commission. Mr. Treich's appointment will be to fulfill the balance of Mr. Weyand's term ending May 31, 2016.
The interview team of Mayor Donahue, Charles Fletcher (Commission Chair) and staff recommend Richard Treich to be appointed to the Utilities Commission.
Proposed Motion
"I move to appoint Richard D. Treich to the Utilities Commission for a term ending on May 31, 2016."
