Executive Summary

 

Staff would like to update the Commission regarding the following items:

 

Otocast Plaques

Plaques for the Otocast mobile app were ordered and provided to Park Operations and Maintenance Staff for installation.

 

Inventory Assessment and Maintenance Plan

As directed in the October meeting, staff have been coordinating with the Legal Department to prepare a contract with Pacific Coast Conservation for the inventory assessment and maintenance plan. PCC verbally accepted the award.

 

After some discussion with PCC staff, it was determined to begin the assessment work in January 2020. PCC will likely attend the January meeting to review project details. Because the contract will be awarded in 2020 and PCC plans to submit an assessment schedule in 2020, 65% of the project will be paid out of the 2020 Public Art Fund budget ($4,956.25). The remaining fees ($2,668.75) will be paid out in increments in the first quarter of 2021. The entire project will be completed by the end of March 2021 at the latest.
