Update: Quasi-Judicial Projects

Executive Summary
The purpose and intent of this report is to provide Town Council with a summary of quasi-judicial projects. In order to provide all parties with due process under law, decision makers must be fair and impartial when considering quasi-judicial applications such as those attached to this memorandum (Attachment A).
Many of the attached projects do not have public hearing dates yet, but Town Council could be asked to consider them in the future. The Town’s In Your Backyard map provides information on staff-reviewed applications and applications already approved by Town Council. Those applications can be found at: CRgov.com/inyourbackyard <http://www.crgov.com/inyourbackyard>.
New Applications
Staff received two applications as follows:
Ridge Estates Annexation - The property owner submitted an annexation request for a 70 acre tract located south of Crystal Valley Ranch, east of Bell Mountain Ranch and north and west of Seller Creek Ranch. The site is currently zoned agriculture in the County. The proposal is currently under staff review, no public hearing dates have been established.
Burt at Castle Rock Planned Development Amendment - The property owner submitted an application to amend the existing PD to expand the number of permitted uses to include warehouse and light industrial. The proposal is currently under staff review, no public hearing dates have been established.
