Executive Summary
Staff provided the following updates:
Tribal Jam
The volunteer activity hosted at Metzler Ranch Community Park to touch up the skate park reliefs was extremely successful. Artist Rik Sargent offered to touch up additional portions of some of the colored reliefs free-of-charge, as well as submit a new proposal to entirely revamp the Tribal Jam sculptures.
Groovy Peace Sign
Groovy Peace Sign will be installed at the skate park at Metzler Ranch Community Park on Tuesday, May 16 around 9 am.
Board and Commission Recruitment
The panel interviewed ten candidates this week and have made recommendations to be approved by Town Council next Tuesday, May 16. Newly appointed or renewed members will begin terms in June. Chair Jen Perry would like to not only offer orientation meetings, but also suggested potentially hosting some type of team building activity early in the new term period. Staff recommend that members discuss this idea to begin planning if deemed appropriate.
Still Wild Dedication Event
As a reminder, the dedication event will be held Friday, May 12 at 5 p.m. Logistics are secured - we look forward to hopefully seeing everyone in attendance!
