Executive Summary
The Castle Rock Arts and Culture Foundation continues developing the organizational structure, tools and strategies needed to support future arts and culture fundraising and partnerships.
During its August meeting, the Foundation Board:
• Reviewed proposed branding and approved direction for continued logo and identity development
• Recapped its recent meet and greet with the Public Art Commission and affirmed that the organizations have complementary, rather than competing, roles
• Appointed Justin Mencini, local professional artist with arts education background, to the Board of Directors and continued discussing additional recruitment opportunities
• Advanced administrative work related to directors and officers liability insurance, QuickBooks implementation and internal financial procedures
• Confirmed testing Givebutter as its primary email platform and began discussing future fundraising campaigns and communications procedures
• Discussed the Public Art Commission’s upcoming strategic planning process and the potential value of consultant assistance
Additional Foundation updates will be provided periodically to help the Commission remain informed about organizational development, fundraising strategies and opportunities for future coordination.
