Executive Summary
The Public Art Commission will review and discuss ongoing public art initiatives, project updates and future priorities to ensure alignment with upcoming projects, artist selection activities and community partnerships. As part of this discussion, the Commission will consider the following items and initiatives:
• Tiny Art Quest review and selection of finalists for installation throughout the community.
• Big Drive project update, including fabrication progress, installation timing and dedication event planning.
• Quarterly Public Art Fund budget review, including planned expenditures and available project funding.
• Wolfensberger Road Underpass Mural Project, including finalization of the call for artists, project scope, budget, artist responsibilities and project timeline.
• ArtFest participation planning, including volunteer staffing and distribution of a SignUpGenius to confirm commissioner availability.
• Castle Rock Arts and Culture Foundation update, including discussion of a proposed meet and greet with the Foundation Board of Directors.
