Executive Summary
The Town of Castle Rock launched its Trail Ambassador Program in 2026 to create a visible, knowledgeable and welcoming volunteer presence on the Town’s trails. Trail Ambassadors assist and educate trail users, promote safe and responsible recreation, report trail conditions and maintenance needs and support stewardship of Castle Rock’s parks, open spaces and trails. POST Partners Volunteer Program Coordinator Marcy Jones will provide an overview of the program’s development and inaugural year, including volunteer recruitment and training, ambassador responsibilities, program activity, early successes and challenges and potential opportunities for future growth.
