Executive Summary
Due to moving the station site after the contract was awarded to RS&H for architectural services, we need to amend the original agreement for cost and time.

Council has previously approved the existing agreement and this amendment takes it over the $250,000.00 limit.
Discussion
Due to moving the station site after the contract was awarded to RS&H, we need to approve an amendment to the original agreement for cost and time. When first awarded, the station was scheduled to open in September 2026. However, moving the site to the current location has required additional work and set the time frame back to September 2027.
RS&H is requesting $195,262.00 be added via amendment to their contract to for the added level of effort required for this program. We are also extending the contract from June 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027.
With this increase, we are still within budget and do not expect any additional funding requests due to this amendment. Due to fact the expenditure now exceeds the $250,000.00 signing limit of the Town Manager, Council approval is required.
Budget Impact
The previous contract was for $714,930.00. We are amending the contract to a new total of $910,192, an increase of $195,262.00. This additional amount can be accommodated in the station construction budget without requesting an increase in the overall budget amount.
This Contract Amendment includes Fee Modification Requests #1, 2, 3, and 4. Please refer to the individual fee modification requests for details related to each.
