Executive Summary
The purpose and intent of this memorandum is to provide a recommendation to appoint Chris Cote and Richelle McKim to replace Eric Bender and James Briggs who recently resigned from the Planning Commission. On January 25, 2018, interviews were conducted by Planning Commission Chair Max Brooks, Vice-Chair David Kay, and Planning Manager Kevin Wrede. The interview panel interviewed 11 prospective members and chose two to fill the vacancies. The interview panel found that Mr. Cote and Mrs. McKim’s background, experience and keen interest in the Town of Castle Rock, would make both candidates valuable members of the Planning Commission.
Proposed Motion
I move to appoint Chris Cote and Richelle McKim to the Planning Commission to fill the terms ending on May 31, 2018.
