Executive Summary
The purpose of this agenda item is to provide the Parks and Recreation Commission with an update on programming and operations at Rueter-Hess Reservoir. Amy Knopp, Rueter-Hess Reservoir Manager of Douglas County, will be in attendance to present information regarding 2025 programming highlights, operational updates, and upcoming initiatives.
The presentation will include an overview of current recreational offerings, special events, community engagement efforts, and educational programming at the Reservoir. Ms. Knopp will also provide insight into planned enhancements, future initiatives, and ongoing coordination efforts that support the Reservoir’s role as a regional recreational, environmental, and community asset.
