Executive Summary
Interviews with residents who applied to serve on Town Boards and Commissions were held during the Special Council Meeting on May 8, 2018. The Town received 51 applications during this year’s recruiting period, and scheduled 63 interviews between 10 boards and commissions.
The Castle Rock Water Commission and Public Art Commission scheduled alternate interview dates to accommodate a few applicants who were unavailable on May 8. These interviews were held after the May 15 Council meeting, therefore recommendations for appointments to the Castle Rock Water Commission and the Public Art Commission are being presented this evening.
Additional recommendations for the Design Review Board appointments will be presented at the June 19 Council Meeting, based upon the appointments that were ratified on May 15.
Staff Recommendation
The recommended appointments are as follows:
Castle Rock Water Commission (one vacancy remaining)

• Steve Maruska (reappointment)

• Lauri Ann Maloney
