Executive Summary
The purpose of this agenda item is to confirm plans and logistics for attending Castle Rock’s 2024 Artfest. The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday, Sept. 8 in Downtown along Perry Street and in Festival Park. Staff recommend that members confirm activities/information that will be provided at the Public Art Commission booth. The discussion from the July meeting included: ordering shirts to wear at Artfest, promoting the Tiny Art Quest, offering giveaways to participants who find all Tiny Art Quest installations, ordering holiday cards to sell and promote the Holiday Card Art Contest and potentially hosting some type of survey to engage interested adults.
