Executive Summary
The purpose and intent of this report is to provide Town Council with a summary of quasi-judicial projects. In order to provide all parties with due process under law, decision makers must be fair and impartial when considering quasi-judicial applications such as those attached to this memorandum (Attachment A).
Many of the attached projects do not have public hearing dates yet, but Town Council could be asked to consider them in the future. The Town’s In Your Backyard map provides information on staff-reviewed applications and applications already approved by Town Council. New Applications
Meadows Town Center Multi-family SDP: Garrett Companies has submitted a Site Development Plan application for the Echelon at The Meadows, a multi-family development located west of Meadows Boulevard, across from the hospital. Garrett Companies is proposing 240, for-rent apartments on the 14.1 acre site.
Calvary Church Annexation: Calvary Chapel Castle Rock, Inc., has submitted an annexation petition for a 5.4 acre parcel located at the northwest corner of 5th Street and Woodlands Boulevard. The vacant site is currently zoned Rural Residential within Douglas County.
Updates have been provided on the fact sheets for cases currently under review, where applicable.
