Executive Summary
The Town recently issued a news release highlighting the five sculptures selected by the Public Art Commission for display in Castle Rock through the 2026 Douglas County Art Encounters program. The release also promotes the Town’s self-guided Otocast tour and recognizes the Commission’s recent purchase of High Five by Christine Knapp for the permanent public art collection.
Colorado Community Media also published a countywide feature titled “Connecting Community Through Douglas County’s Art Encounters.” The article explores the role of public art in creating vibrant community spaces and profiles several participating artists, including Doyle Svenby and his Castle Rock installations, Bullrush and Stumped.
