Executive Summary
The Parks and Recreation Department will provide a Strategic Plan Implementation and Accountability Update highlighting 2025 accomplishments and 2026 priorities aligned with the Department’s Strategic Plan and budget objectives.
Marne Hansen, Executive Director of the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation, will present an overview of the Foundation’s recent successes and future goals, demonstrating the impact of this key community partnership in advancing shared strategic priorities reflected within the Department’s Strategic Plan.
Lisa Sorbo, Customer Relations Program Specialist, will provide an overview of trends and future strategic goals within the Communications Division, outlining performance measures, engagement strategies, and service enhancements that support departmental objectives.
The presentation will illustrate strategic alignment across divisions and community partnerships, staff involvement in goal execution, and measurable progress toward established outcomes. This format reflects the Department’s ongoing commitment to strategic implementation, performance accountability, accreditation alignment, and transparent reporting in support of high-quality parks, facilities, and community services.
