Resolution Approving the Petition for the Exclusion of Real Property from the Castleview Metropolitan District [The Oaks Filing No. 3] (southwest of the intersection of Plum Creek Pkwy and Ridge Road, and east of Castle Vista Drive)

Executive Summary
In the companion request to realign the Castleview Metropolitan District into two separate Districts, certain tracts previously dedicated to the Town are affected by the new boundaries. Initially the proposal was for certain of the Town tracts to be excluded from the existing District and included in the new District 2. After discussions with the District representatives, we decided to simply exclude the Town tracts, which as tax-exempt have no financial impact if included within a District. This Resolution authorizes the submission of a petition for exclusion to the Board of Directors of the Castleview Metropolitan District.
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends approval of the Resolution as presented.
