Executive Summary
The purpose of this memo is to obtain Town Council approval for an ordinance approving an agreement between ACM Dawson Trails VII JV LLC and the Town of Castle Rock for the exchange of property between the two entities, and the grant of temporary easements to the Town to facilitate the construction of the Crystal Valley Interchange project.
Discussion
The Town is entering into an agreement with the Dawson Trails developer to exchange properties surrounding the CVI project at no cost to either party. The developer will provide existing property interests to the Town needed for the CVI project, and in exchange, the Town will provide certain existing rights-of-way to the developer that will no longer be necessary once the interchange is completed.
