Executive Summary
The applicant, Spotlight Theater, is requesting approval of a Use by Special Review - Tenant Finish for a theater located at 680 Atchison Way, Suite #400. Spotlight Theater is a youth theater with dance, vocal, and theater training classes. Classes and rehearsals will be held between 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Performances will be held periodically through the year. A Use by Special Review is required for theaters in the General Industrial (I-2) Zone District. As Spotlight Theater is proposed to go in to an existing building, it is a Use by Special Review - Tenant Finish. A Use by Special Review - Tenant Finish requires a public hearing before the Planning Commission for review and final decision.
